Day 14 - Part 1 - Partiremo insieme nel silenzio del mattino – Marche, Emiliglia-Romagna

Once arrived at our camp site we discovered it didn’t exist… Well it did but there were no campers and nobody was at the reception and besides the toilets which we decide to use before we left again nothing really seemed to be in use. So we headed in direction of Faenza (the camp site was somewhat outside of Faenza) and found the tourist office to find ourselves a bed for the night as quickly as possible. We called some places and eventually we found a really nice place which wasn’t yet open but we could get the room anyway. The woman was really nice and happy to have two Dutch girls as her first guests ever and she even brought the both of us a small flower the day after and when we got home at night she had left us some chocolate hearts.

After leaving our bags and changing into something else we headed for the piazza and even though we were a little later than our usual time we were still the first to be there. We found something to eat and drink and found a spot somewhere to sit. We watched the stage being built, played some Uno, talked, ate, drink and did nothing…the usual. At some point some people we know passed and scared us with a loud yell before we could even see them. Yeah, funny people…

At some point we apparently had to leave the piazza but we had been told to just stick around because if you showed your ticket they usually let you stay in. That didn’t work because apparently Gianna had to do a sound check. Great… We stayed inside because going out now was no option as there was a line out already and now way all those people would accept some people coming from inside and let them up front. Besides many others were still inside anyway.

Eventually we could stay inside with some people and wait in one of the galleries leading to the piazza. We watched the band during the sound check and once it was time headed into the gallery. In the end we were lucky because we heard the security from overhear that they were going to open the piazza in 5 minutes so we just walked pass the one guy that was standing with us (who was overwhelmed with all the women there already anyway, hehehe) and got to the piazza just in time to get our places.
